Taking place on December 8-9, NEM Zagreb, under the new slogan „Inspiring Video Creators in CEE“, introduces a refreshed concept, designed to celebrate creativity, expand beyond traditional TV and film, unite the creative ecosystem, showcase innovation, inspire and educate, and generate new business opportunities, the event's organizers announced today.
The event brings together a diverse mix of traditional TV and film leaders, next-generation creators, brands, and platforms, including broadcasters, streamers, OTT executives, producers, showrunners, studio heads, content buyers, tech companies, telecoms, social media platforms, video creators, short-form innovators, agencies, and marketing professionals. The NEM Awards 2025 have been refreshed and reimagined to reflect the evolving landscape of the TV and film industry in the CEE region. The awards now recognize excellence and innovation across three key categories: Best Finished TV Series in CEE celebrates TV series originating from Central and Eastern Europe that have been broadcast or streamed in the region between September 15, 2024, and October 15, 2025, honoring the best completed series. Best Pre-Development TV Series in Europe highlights promising projects in the pre-development stage, offering screenwriters and creators a chance to connect with producers, gain visibility, and benefit from the event’s networking opportunities. Best AI for Video Industry rewards the most innovative and impactful applications of artificial intelligence in video, spanning content creation, editing, personalization, and audience engagement. Each category showcases projects shaping the future of the TV and film industry, reflecting NEM Zagreb 2025’s mission to inspire, connect, and empower the region’s creative community. Creators and producers wishing to submit their projects for the NEM Awards 2025 can do so until November 4, 2025, with the chance to be recognized in one of the three award categories. RELATED
