Quebecor Content has announced that Canal+ Poland, home to the largest premium satellite television platforms in Poland, has acquired the acclaimed drama series Detective Surprenant: Murder on the Island for broadcast to Polish audiences. Beginning in spring 2026, Canal+ Poland will air the six-episode, one-hour series in its original French with Polish audio or subtitles on the Ale kino+ channel.

This latest licensing deal follows the recent domestic launch of the second installment of the series, Detective Surprenant: The Baron of the Archipelago. As previously announced, Detective Surprenant: Murder on the Island, was acquired by Global Series Network (GSN) for streaming on the renowned Walter Presents platform in the U.K., Ireland, and the U.S. The series was produced by V10 Media in collaboration with Quebecor Content and distributed worldwide by TVA Distribution.
