CEEHeart of Europe Festival & Forum set for October return in Warsaw
The Heart of Europe International TV Festival & Forum will return for its sixth edition on October 27–30, 2026, in Warsaw.
Organized by Polish Television, the event brings together public broadcasters from across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to showcase the region’s audiovisual output and strengthen industry collaboration. The festival will feature a broad range of programming, including feature films, series, documentaries, entertainment formats, children’s and youth content, and digital projects from public broadcasters spanning Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Georgia. Building on previous editions, the event aims to serve as a key meeting point for broadcasters, producers, creators, and industry executives, offering a platform to discover new content, promote original productions internationally, and foster co-production and distribution partnerships. The main competition will highlight outstanding public television productions across six categories: Feature Film and Series, Documentary Film, Short Documentary, Entertainment, Children & Youth, and Digital Projects. Winners will be selected by an international jury composed of representatives from public broadcasters. Alongside the festival, the industry-focused forum will invite submissions of new projects in Fiction Film, Fiction Series, and Documentary. The forum is designed as a collaborative space for pitching, networking, and developing cross-border partnerships within the CEE region. Further details about the 2026 edition are expected to be announced in the coming months. RELATED
