Airing every weekday on TRT1, Lingo Türkiye has reached a major broadcasting milestone with its 400th episode. Distributed globally by All3Media International, the format is licensed and produced in Turkey by Shine Medya, with TRT serving as the broadcaster. The show is hosted by Kemal Uçar.

First launched in Turkey on October 23, 2023, Lingo Türkiye airs every weekday at 17.45. The show has delivered a strong and consistent ratings performance, becoming the most-watched game show in its category in the Access Primetime slot, the distributor reports.

Gabriel Andrews, Sales Executive for Balkans, Greece, Turkey, and CIS at All3Media International, commented: “We are thrilled with the huge success of Lingo Türkiye. It has been fantastic to see the rise of Lingo’s popularity in Turkey into it becoming a favorite game show for the local audience. We congratulate our valued partners Shine Medya and TRT on producing and broadcasting 400 high-quality episodes. It is a huge milestone, and we hope the show continues for many more episodes on TRT. We are also happy to share that Star Channel in Greece have successfully launched their first season. We are very excited to see their production of this internationally successful game show and are pleased to be partnering with them on another excellent adaptation of the format.”

Adil Şentekin, Founder and CEO of Shine Medya, said: “Lingo is a format that has proven its long-running success across many international markets. Reaching 400 episodes in Turkey and becoming the most-watched game show in its category in the Access Primetime slot clearly demonstrates the format’s universal appeal and the strength of the collaboration between Shine Medya, TRT and All3Media International. Lingo Türkiye is a strong example of how a global format can build a genuine connection with a local audience. Working alongside All3Media International and TRT, we have created a sustainable success. Reaching this milestone with such a strong performance is a testament to the passion, discipline and dedication of the entire team.”

TRT1 stated: “As TRT, we take great pride in further reinforcing our mission to bring family-friendly, educational and entertaining content to our viewers with Lingo Türkiye. On air for 400 episodes, this valuable program has carried the power of words and the richness of our language into homes every day, proving its success through the strong audience interest it continues to receive. Its consistent leadership within the Access Primetime slot is a reflection of our effective content strategy. We would like to thank our production partner Shine Medya, our host Kemal Uçar, and our viewers who join us in front of their screens every day for their contribution to this success.”

Host Kemal Uçar commented: “It is truly special to see millions of people enjoying wordplay with Lingo Türkiye every day. Reaching 400 episodes is the result of the strong bond we have built, both on and off screen, with our team and our viewers.

I would like to sincerely thank our audiences and all the contestants who have joined us since day one and supported us throughout this journey. We hope to continue this journey together for many years to come. Being part of this story is a great source of pride for me.”
