Ahead of MIPCOM 2026 BBC Studios and Polsat have agreed a back catalog deal that will bring a diverse selection of high-quality programming spanning drama, factual and entertainment titles to Polsat’s Free TV and Basic TV channel portfolio. At over 200 hours, the agreement is the largest content sales package ever concluded by BBC Studios in the Polish market.

Local viewers can enjoy early seasons of beloved dramas including the award-winning Death in Paradise which is loved by audiences in 230 territories worldwide and Father Brown, the UK’s number 1 daytime drama of the last decade and viewed by audiences across North America, Asia and Europe. Audiences can also tune into a rich slate of factual programming such as Atlantic: Wildest Ocean on Earth, David Attenborough's Natural Curiosities, The Vikings Uncovered and Natural World: Return of the Giant Killers.

Polish premieres for the latest seasons of drama titles such as Death in Paradise and Father Brown will continue to air exclusively on premium drama channel BBC First, available across all major platforms, including Polsat Box.

Meanwhile, BBC Studios Global Productions have agreed a renewal with Polsat which means the broadcaster will continue to be the home of the Dancing with the Stars format. Series 19 of DWTS, which premiered in September, remains the number one entertainment show in Poland, demonstrating the show’s enduring appeal with Polish audiences.

BBC Studios will be located at P0.E1 within the Palais des Festivals Verrière section at the market.
